Books

What I have written down.

Read them. Listen to them. Take what is yours.

First book

The Quiet Path

A short book for the player who has done the technical work and noticed something missing.

Eighty-nine pages. Written for the player who has been at this long enough to ask different questions than they used to.

This is not a strategy book. It is what gets pointed at when the strategy books stop being enough.

Second book

The Bad Beats

Notes on a practice in disguise.

Twelve chapters on the bad beats the world does not see. The friend who passed you in stakes. The partner who stopped asking how the session went. The Tuesday at three in the morning when you decided you hated the game and yourself for playing it. The years that have not arrived anywhere. The person you become at the table you would not want as a friend.

Read one chapter at a time. Sit with it. The book is not in a hurry.

Third book

The Equilibrium

A slow walk through Nash equilibrium for poker players.

About 10,000 words. Walks slowly through what Nash equilibrium actually is, through doors most explanations skip. Boxing. Basketball. Football. Pricing. Military. Evolution. Traffic. Then back to poker.

For the player who has heard GTO mentioned a thousand times and still feels the concept is somewhere out of reach. By the end, if it works, it will be in your bones.

More books, slowly, when the writing is ready.
