I have been at the table long enough to know that the table is not the thing. Most of what I learned took years longer than it should have, because I was learning it inside an idea of poker that didn't have room for it. The writing on this site is what I have to say about what was actually being learned.
I am not a famous player. I am not a coach in the usual sense. I am someone who walked the path long enough to find that the path was carrying something the path itself wasn't really about, and I am writing down what I found in case it's useful to someone who is walking it too.
This place is what I made when I stopped trying to teach the game and started trying to be honest about it.
